My name is Joe, I would like to tell you about my experience
with Beliteweight and the Detroit Medical Center in the USA. To start,
I found Beliteweight on the Internet. I made some inquiries and
came in contact with Margeret from Beliteweight. She sent me all the information
that I needed and guided me through the procedure. Without her
guidance the surgery would not have happened. |

A little about me: First of all I am 67 years old and I am 6
feet tall and weighed 250 plus pounds, not morbidly obese with
a BMI of 36.5 My main concern was I was short of breath.
I have arthritis, I have sleep apnea. After having a thalium
stress test, x-rays and a pulmonary test, all was normal but the
shortness of breath continued. My problem was the fat around my
heart and lungs.
Margeret from Beliteweight made all the arrangements for my surgery and Dr. Elhorr
and his great staff completed the surgery on December the 16TH
at the Detroit Medical Center. I can not say enough about how
well I was treated and cared for. The day of the surgery, I was
out of bed and walking around. I was discharged the second day
after the surgery. I started playing golf 17 days after surgery
and I have no pain or complications. I am pleased. I highly
recommend Beliteweight, The Detroit Medical Center and Dr. Elhorr
and associates.
As of today, I have lost 25 pounds, not from the surgery or the
adjustment, (I have to wait 6 weeks for the band to be adjusted
for the first time,) but by the pre-op diet and the motivation
that I now have that for the first time in my life I can loose
weight and keep it off. Today I weigh 227 pounds and plan to
weigh 200 pounds or less by my birthday in March of this year.
I will enclose a picture of then and now and one when I reach my
goal of 200 pounds.
